So much happened in this weeks reading! I can't believe that Prim died and Katniss has to go for a free or all fight to find the medicine for Peeta! Do you think that Prim would have died anyway?
Ya, Rue and prim are very similar... And yes, I expected Rue to die and for Katniss to be all sad. However, I did not expect that Katniss would use Rue's death to send a message to the capitol. How about you guys?
ya I think Rue had to die, i mean someone had to or else it wouldn't be exciting. and i thought it was really smart of Katniss to send a message to the capitol, and it payed off! and im petty sure that the medicine will heal Peeta, there wouldn't really be a point if it didn't.
Wait, when you say Katniss sent a message to the capitol, what are you talking about? Do you guys mean when she says thank you for the bread that Rue and Thresh's district gave her?
What if Peeta dies? I'll be so sad! I'm soooo hoping that Peeta and Katniss will win and BOTH stay alive, and then they can live happily ever after. But, it might not be exciting enough if Peeta doesn't die though. Maybe Katniss will be the only one alive in the end, since she's the narrator. Do you think he is going to die in the very end?
Rachel, responding to the send a message to the capitol thing, I mean when Katniss sang rue to death and then buried her in flowers. It's pretty unusual for someone trying to kill everyone else to give a nice "not-quite burial", and it showed rebellion
