I really enjoyed reading about the interview that Katniss had with Caesar and how Peeta told him that he loved Katniss, do you guys think he was telling the truth? Or was he using that as a technique?
I don't know. I'm kinda confused about that... Peeta confessed to Katniss afterward the interviews that Haymitch had planned that out, and then at one point Peeta said something like, "but you don't love me" to Katniss, so I think he does love her for real, and Haymitch and him used that reality (his love for Katniss) as something to charm the audience for the interview.
i also think it's sort of stereotypical. you know, in a lot of books, they make a person actually in love with someone who may or may not feel the same way and then put the two in a situation where they have to harm each other... why do authors do that?
oh ya that too! im not really sure, i think its sort of a typical thing i guess. its quite obvious that theres going to be some sort of love triangle between Peeta, gale, and katniss later in the book or that is what i think.

i agree rachel. Even if peeta really loves katniss, he still used it to help get sopnsers.
