Immigration in the past and future

This article was about how immigration has changed throughout the years and about a new law that was passed in Alabama. Before the economy was bad immigrants were accepted to take the lower paying jobs and were considered an important part of the economy. Know that there are less jobs they are seen as competition. From 1990 to 2000 the U.S. gained 11.3 million immigrants, this is the largest increase this country has ever experienced, a growth rate of 57%. Alabama has just passed a law that is making illegal immigrants take their kids out of school and disappear from Alabama farms. Many people wonder what else will happen around the topic of immigration as election time comes closer and the economy progresses.

  1. This article bothered me a little because I noticed it used "hispanic" and "mexican" and people should know that it's not just these races immigrating to the United States...
